Greenman Woodwick Soy Candle – Midnight Rose

A soy candle for the hour when the room softens and the day begins to loosen. Midnight Rose brings a floral, evening mood into the space, with a wooden wick that adds a low, fireside crackle as it burns.

Rose after dark

The scent leans floral and lingering, made for quiet evenings rather than bright daytime freshness.

There is a woodland feel beneath the rose, giving the candle a grounded, tucked-away atmosphere.

The wooden wick brings a gentle crackle, adding sound as well as scent to a slow evening ritual.

It suits a bedside table, reading corner, bath-time pause, or the centre of a calm living room.

The glass jar keeps the look simple and steady, easy to place among books, plants or soft lamplight.

Soy wax and a wooden wick

The candle is made with soy wax in a glass jar, with a woodwick for a softer, more atmospheric burn. Soy wax is a plant-based candle wax, often chosen for its smooth melt and gentle scent throw.

The materials include soy wax, glass, cork, paper, cornstarch and wood. Together, they keep the presentation natural in tone, without turning the candle into something fussy.

Lighting it well

Place the candle on a heat-proof holder or plate before lighting. Trim the wick to about 5 mm before each burn, as a shorter wick helps the flame stay steadier.

Let the wax melt evenly across the surface where possible, especially on the first burn. Never leave a burning candle unattended, and keep it away from curtains, papers, draughts and anything flammable.

A quiet Greenman ritual

Here, that mood comes through in a softer way: a rose scent set against an earthy, evening atmosphere, made less formal by the crackle of wood. It is not a ceremonial object that asks for a complicated practice. It is simply a small ritual for marking the change of pace, when the lights go low and the room becomes still.
