TSUBAME is known for its advanced metal processing technology in Tsubame City, Niigata Prefecture. The mark "Made in TSUBAME," which shines as proof of meeting the town's strict quality standards, is only awarded to products recognized by the Tsubame Chamber of Commerce as part of the regional brand "Made in TSUBAME." This signifies that the products embody the pride and craftsmanship of Tsubame, which is celebrated worldwide. The polished shine of the items, ranging from pots to drippers and measuring cups, is achieved through the meticulous work of polishing artisans, resulting in elegantly radiant products. The wave dripper features Kalita's unique three-hole structure, which, when used with a flat-bottomed wave filter, allows even beginners to brew a consistently delicious cup with ease. Tsubame City is located in the almost central part of the Echigo Plain and accounts for over 90% of domestic production of metal tableware.
