The Coffee Puzzle: Coffee disrupts your circadian rhythm by acting on the stress hormone cortisol. Chronic stress + overeating = chronically elevated cortisol levels, providing a persistent feeling of ‘awakening.’ This can lead to sleep deprivation, poor digestion, decreased libido, a weakened immune system, and a depressed mood. The Difference of Adaptogens: Adding adaptogens to coffee can alleviate its side effects. Adaptogens provide vitality and balance cortisol levels, reducing the energy required to fight stress-induced toxicity. Adoptogenic herbs have cumulative effects. Enjoy the benefits by drinking as much Lhasa as you want every day! We recommend Dirty, which can be consumed morning and evening... Coffee! ..Our herbs add depth and complexity. If you have jam, you can add creamer (Crème de la Creamer is recommended) and sweetener. Mixing or using a frother creates a smooth latte. Fair Trade, Women-Owned Coffee. Our coffee is produced on farms owned and operated by women, an exception in the coffee industry where women are often excluded.
