Type: Auto-wah filter Adapter: 9V center negative Battery operation: 9V battery The legendary auto-wah filter pedal, first released in the red in the late 1970s and later in the most famous green and then blue, was widely used by guitarists and bassists as a staple of the funk sound. Its popularity grew especially after its use by world-class bassists in the US and UK. Animals Pedal has further refined this legendary auto-wah tone with the Double Spy Mission is Impossible Filter. A filter that follows the volume is called an envelope filter. This is also sometimes called a touch wah or auto-wah. Setting such filters can be difficult for beginners. The Double Spy Mission is Impossible Filter also has a standard control configuration, so it may take some getting used to, but its ease of use and ease of sound manipulation are impressive.
