USB key protected by fingerprint or code unlocking system. 🔒 It consists of two parts that are apparently physically separate but still connected. In short ! A quirky-looking little program handles it all. I tested the key on an old Windows vista (dusty that had rolled under the desk 😏). The key works✌️😲👌 The small program is not at all intuitive. To call it you have to touch the square, then a window opens. The colors change. If it's green, you're a winner and you've succeeded. 😁 Do not hesitate to try again several times to memorize the imprint and then it works. You have to slide your finger gently, move, try, etc. You can register several identification fingers. You have to caress the key in the square with a finger (🙈) . When it's good, the program will tell you. To test, when the code or fingerprint is recognized, look when the key turns green 👉 this is when you have to click to validate the identification. If you can't do it, tell me. I manage to identify myself with the fingerprint and also with an 8-16 bit code, it's the same. The little software seems to work stably. Unlocking is long, it takes 8-10 seconds to decrypt and access files. On Linux there is nothing to do, 🙄 there is no possibility to make it work. If nothing is configured, it is a free traditional access key. If anyone has any info, I take 😉. Appearance: The metal is heavy and soft to the touch. The cap holds firmly. The key arrived lying in the foam in a metal box. Operating program is spartan and non-intuitive! But be patient, calm and persistent and you should be fine. Once calibrated, the key becomes stable and works well 😉. And finally I think that all this can be circumvented. But still not by the first comer. This object can still prevent access to sensitive data. 🌚 Edit: if the pc is blocked with an administrator password and well the fingerprint does not work and not possible to enter the password. Contrary to what is said in the documentation to manage or not the login, you will be blocked by the admin of the computer. Let's summarize: on this key the lock can only be used under your personal Windows and if only you are an administrator. If nothing is activated, it will be an ordinary key. I will refrain from recommending. 💌

I sent a complaint to Joom and the seller of the item, but Joom sent me back to the seller from whom I never received a response!!! I am at a dead end because I received a bill reminder from Klarna and I refuse to pay for a device that does not meet the advertised conditions regarding its operation. I ask Joom to cancel my invoice of 26 chf or to claim in turn from the seller for non-compliance with the clause "Quality complaints are only accepted within 360 days following the product delivery date. However, I received the product on May 20th, I could not return it immediately since I could not immediately test what I ordered it for. I did my part but Joom and the seller are not doing theirs
