Commercial Use Bonito Shaver Standard Size Large 2 Type Blue Paper Steel Blade Tamowood Kashiwood Premium Box Made Japan Katsuobushi Honkarebushi High

This product is an original item from a factory that has been making bonito shavers since the Showa era. Our company refers to the bonito shaver as "Katsuobako." This Katsuobako is a "professional-grade Katsuobako" made with high-quality "Aogami steel blade" used in knives. Aogami steel is a type of Yasuki steel, famous for its excellent sharpness. Experience the high-quality sensation of shaving with light pressure. A good blade provides a gentle touch to the bonito, resulting in a smooth shaving experience. The sharpness also lasts longer. The outer box is made of "Tamo wood," and the plane body is made of "Kashi wood," making it a genuine bonito shaver. *The professional model does not have a drawer. Without a drawer, a blade that maintains excellent sharpness and is resistant to wear can be used, along with a thick plane body, allowing you to shave bonito to fill the box. It also comes with non-slip feet. The Middle Type uses an Aogami steel blade, while the High Type uses a high-quality Aogami blade made by artisans in Yoita, Niigata Prefecture. The package design text was written by a calligrapher from Kamo City, Niigata Prefecture, with the wish to "jump not only in Japan but also overseas." [About Honkarebushi] Honkarebushi is a fermented and aged type of bonito made using traditional Japanese methods, characterized by its higher aroma, umami, and elegance compared to regular Ara-bushi. It is very hard and cannot be shaved with a knife, requiring a specialized bonito shaver (kanna) like this product. The shaved and powdered parts can be used as a natural furikake, enhancing the flavor when sprinkled on rice or added to miso soup, making it highly recommended. The flower-like parts are great partners for tofu or ohitashi! They are also highly recommended for tamago kake gohan. (Target audience: high-end seekers, additive-free, authenticity seekers, Japanese food lovers, dashi enthusiasts, chefs, health-conscious individuals) Especially, freshly shaved Honkarebushi has the aroma, umami, and melt-in-your-mouth texture, so please give it a try. [Notice] *Please read the usage precautions carefully and use it correctly. *Avoid washing this product with water, as it may lead to damage. Please check the care instructions in the manual. *
