Douk Audio U2 PRO USB Digital Interface with XMOS XU316 oscillator, Optical/Coaxial/I2S output, DSD512 compatible, replaceable oscillator, UAC1.0/2.0

Equipped with the latest XMOS XU316 chip, the core of high-quality sound reproduction: Supports ultra-high resolution DSD512/PCM768kHz: The U2 PRO, equipped with the latest XMOS XU316 asynchronous transmission, guarantees virtually no delay and a stable signal, enabling native playback of ultra-high-resolution audio sources such as DSD512 and PCM 32bit/768kHz, which was difficult with conventional USB interfaces. By minimizing delay in USB transmission and achieving stable data transfer, it delivers high-definition sound that faithfully reproduces even the finest details of the sound.

Simultaneous supply of 3 independent digital outputs: Dramatically expands the connectivity of your DAC and amplifier: It simultaneously provides three types of digital outputs: optical, coaxial, and I2S (via HDMI interface). This makes it easy to connect music from PCs and smartphones to older high-end DACs and AV amplifiers that do not have USB inputs. If you have a high-performance DAC that supports I2S input, you can expect even higher purity signal transmission and improved sound quality. UAC Mode Switching Function for Wide-Range Device Compatibility: Easily switch between UAC (USB Audio Class) modes using the switch on the back. In UAC 1.0 mode, it's instantly recognized by game consoles like PS5 and Switch, and in environments where driver installation is difficult, allowing for plug-and-play use. Switching to UAC 2.0 mode enables full utilization of high-resolution audio playback capabilities on PCs.

Clock Upgradeable Design for Advanced Users: Despite its compact, postcard-sized body, it features space on the circuit board for replacing the clock oscillator. This allows for further sound quality improvement by replacing the oscillator with a higher-precision one with less jitter (time-axis fluctuation), catering to the discerning tastes of audiophiles (soldering skills are required for replacement).

Compact and Intuitive Operation: Easy Setup with USB Power Supply: Operates on USB bus power, eliminating the need for a cumbersome AC adapter. Power can be supplied directly from a PC, mobile battery, or PS5 USB port using the included USB Type-C cable (compatible with both A and C). The front indicator lets you see the current audio format (PCM/DSD) at a glance, making it a simple yet high-performance digital audio quality enhancement item.
